Design and Build Quality of Mr. Fog Max Air MA8500

If you’re imagining the Max Air 8500 as this sleek and lightweight thing, think again. It’s not as slim as a Vuse Alto or a Truu Bar, but holding it feels kind of more upscale. Not gonna lie, I’m not a huge fan of the round shape in my pocket. But, deep down, knowing it packs enough puffs to last all day gives me a bit of a confidence boost. Plus, they’ve colored each flavor differently, which is super practical for spotting the one you want.

The mouthpiece fits my lips perfectly, and I love it. The only downside is the large hole for airflow, which tends to attract dust. Then there’s this gold airflow adjustment ring that can spin all around without any stopper and lets you adjust the airflow from fully open to completely closed. It’s super easy to tweak and stays in place once you’ve set it to your liking.

Unlike the earlier models in the Max Air series that weren’t rechargeable, this new version of Max Air includes a 600mAh battery with a Type-C charging port at the bottom. As I mentioned in another post, a quick 15-20 minute charge keeps it going for a whole day for me. If you charge it fully, it can last nearly two days. Take this with a grain of salt, though, since everyone’s vaping habits and puff styles vary. Overall, the battery life has left me really impressed.

The top adjustable airflow really caught my attention. The airflow can be adjusted for either direct lung or mouth-to-lung inhalation. Surprisingly, Mr. Fog max air ma8500 comes with a 1.0Ω mesh coil and 5% nicotine strength. Many starter kits that offer MTL or DL vaping available at Blackout Vapors come with a similar resistance. I have to admit, this seems like a lot for the Fog Max Air. And just a little warning: jumping right into this without taking it easy could make you feel dizzy from too much nicotine, which isn’t fun at all. So, if you’re trying this out, go slow, especially if strong hits aren’t your thing.

Mr. Fog Max Air MA8500 Durability

On top of its performance, I’ve got to say, this vape is surprisingly durable. It’s made of plastic, and I’ve dropped it around 6-7 times while pulling it out of my pocket, but it still works perfectly. The only minor issue is some dust getting into the mouthpiece, but that’s about it. This durability is a big plus, especially for someone as clumsy as me.

Flavor Test: Mr. Fog Max Air MA8500

My main issue with the Mr. Fog Max Air MA8500 isn’t about the device itself but rather the few flavor options available. As of now, there are just eight flavors available. I’ll share my take on each of these flavors, but keep in mind that taste is highly subjective. Just because I enjoy (or don’t enjoy) a flavor doesn’t guarantee you’ll feel the same way.

Double Apple

Imagine crunching into a big, juicy apple. That’s this flavor. I’m into it because it’s like real apples, not sugary fake stuff. Perfect for anyone who loves the taste of fresh apples. But if you’re all about sweets, this might not be your cup of tea.

Double Berry

Double Berry is like having a bunch of juicy berries all at once, which is really fun. But I usually like just one berry flavor at a time, so this mix isn’t exactly my favorite.

Double Espresso

This one’s like drinking a strong, slightly bitter espresso. I love it for its bold coffee punch. But if sweet flavors are your thing, this coffee vibe might be too much.

Double Grape

Double Grape tastes just like real grapes, very natural and not too sweet. I really enjoy how it captures that fresh grape flavor. It’s perfect for anyone who loves an authentic grape taste.

Double Peach

Double Peach is the sweetest, juiciest peach flavor I’ve ever tried. It’s like biting into a ripe peach, and I absolutely love it. I’ve tasted many peach flavors before, but this one is my favorite by far. It feels like the perfect peach taste.

Double Razz

Double Razz is like getting a double dose of raspberry sweetness, and I just can’t get enough of how sweet and natural it tastes. Mr. Fog did an amazing job making it taste like real raspberries. I’ve been vaping it all the time. But if you’re hoping for a tart kick, this one might not be your thing.

Double Spearmint

Double Spearmint tastes just like the fresh, cool spearmint gum by Wrigley’s. I really like how it makes my mouth feel super fresh and cool. If you love mint, you’ve got to try this one.

Double Strawberry

Double Strawberry is like biting into the juiciest, sweetest strawberry you picked out from the store. That’s the vibe this flavor gives me, and I just love it!

After trying all these Mr. Fog flavors, I’m really wowed. They’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head with every single one, from the true-to-life Double Apple to the super sweet Double Peach. Big thumbs up to Mr. Fog for making flavors that taste so real and good.

Final Thoughts

I’ve seen some new vapes out there that say they can do up to 20k puffs and have all these fancy settings, but honestly, for me, it’s all about how good the vape feels and tastes. I’m not really into a vape that has a ton of extra stuff but just tastes okay. What really counts for me is how good the vape and the flavor are, not how many puffs it says it can do or all the fancy tricks it has. So, if you’re after a vape that gives you a great taste and a solid vaping time, the MA8500 is definitely worth checking out.
